His wife, Jackie Sandler, and their two daughters, Sunny and Sadie did, however, opt for something a bit more formal on the red carpet for the premiere of "Don't Say Good Luck". It appears as though the effort George Clooney extended through the Jay Kelly tour to elevate Sandler's wardrobe has taken the back seat. Regular folks might think knocking up a pair of sweatpants on the red carpet could be a fashion faux pas, but hey, do remember this is Adam Sandler we're talking about! From SNL days he’s been a guy who prizes comfort over conformity; ask him why and he’d tell you it was initially to give folks a pleasant surprise when he revealed he was ripped. The movie revolves around a high school theater kid whose prominent role in Waitress gets entangled in escalating home-front chaos. But I doubt the issue is her dad's eclectic taste for premier-countered apparel. If that were the case, Adam Sandler would likely be playing a strangely meta role here.

The young talent, Sunny Sandler, has had a busy year and seems to be collecting Hollywood roles. It tickles my mind to wonder if, decades down the line, we might see her emulating dad’s laidback fashion on the red carpet, maybe clad in ample attire while her own children are in tow? Given what she's presented so far, one would hardly predict so. But hey, it would surely make for a charming sight!
