Zendaya's Movie Marathon: Juggling Act Extraordinaire
- Jul 22, 2026
Crack open the popcorn, folks! 2026 is the year of Zendaya, it seems! Arguably one of the brightest stars on Hollywood's firmament, Zendaya has managed to snag not one, not two, but four juicy roles this year. Anyone else feel their calendar cringing? Bet it can't compete with hers!
Moreover, she's not just confined to the silver screen. She's also rocked the TV scene with the mega-popular HBO drama Euphoria that's sadly bowed out. It's a lot to juggle, but apparently, our girl's got 'skills' with a capital 'S'. The verdict is from the 'Jason Bourne' himself – Matt Damon, cementing Zendaya’s status as the ultimate multi-tasking queen.
Together, Damon and Zendaya bring history to life in Christopher Nolan’s epic tale, The Odyssey. Here, Zendaya graces the screen as Athena, taking on the celestial task of guiding Damon's Odysseus on his trip back home. Damon had quite the description for Zendaya’s unique work schedule, "She's extraordinary…She'd parachute into these different locations, have her moments, and then leave.” 'Parachute in,' huh Matt? We like your style!
Zendaya’s high-flying act wasn’t restricted to The Odyssey. She transitioned seamlessly between the sets of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Dune Part Three, and her night shoots for Euphoria. Sounds like a cinema triathlon, doesn’t it? Oh, but wait, there's Iceland too. Filming for Nolan’s movie on an entirely different fragment of the globe! And the girl made it look effortless.

But the thrill ride doesn't stop there! Her stunning appearances promoting The Odyssey, courtesy of her stylist – Law Roach, can't go unnoticed. Shimmering in feathered gowns, Zendaya looked every bit the goddess she plays. Talk about walking the walk!
Now, about those acting chops. As if being praise-showered by Matt Damon wasn’t enough, Nolan himself gave the Athena actress a 'perfect' on set. Not a bad feather to have in your cap, right?
While you may be asking what's next for Zendaya, allow us to answer: Spider-Man's fourth installment and a whirlwind promotion of Dune: Part Three. After the whirlwind that’s been 2026, she’s planning on pulling the disappearing act for a bit. Can't say we blame her. Parachuting in and out of epic projects deserves some downtime. So mark your calendars, folks! Check out Zendaya in The Odyssey, coming to cinemas near you this July 17. Happy watching!
