Rev Your Engines, Disney Announces Release Dates for Marvel Line-up!
- Aug 18, 2026
Clear your calendars, Marvel maniacs! Disney has spilled the beans about their line-up for an upcoming Marvel mayhem, and trust us, it's super 'marvel-ous'! Mark your alerts on these dates and save the popcorn (and your superhero outfits), your favorite Marvel heroes are coming to a theater near you!
Ryan Gosling's action-packed jaw-dropper "Ghost Rider" is revving up for its big screen debut slated for July 28, 2028. Breaking away from the usual superhero mold, Gosling's motorcycling daredevil will be a fiery refreshment for Marvel aficionados. Giving you a heft of movie magic, it's the third Marvel marvel set to hit screens in 2028, following the much-anticipated “Black Panther 3”, scheduled to pounce on Dec. 15, 2028, and the first in the line, the as yet unnamed “X-Men” movie arriving on May 5, 2028.
This bundle of good news comes hot on the heels of the fan event D23 held this past weekend, where Disney dropped a cargo of release updates, including the big news about Gosling's "Ghost Rider" role first revealed in July at Comic-Con.
Marinate on this mystery, a secret Marvel movie, previously referred to unceremoniously as an untitled Disney Movie, is earmarked for Nov. 9, 2029. What could it be? We're revved up and itching to know more!
Shawn Levy helms the "Ghost Rider" movie, with "Star Wars: Starfighter" wordsmith Jonathan Tropper wielding his pen for the screenplay. Gosling steps into the smoldering boots left by Nicholas Cage, who previously plunged audiences into the thrill ride of the Spirit of Vengeance in two movies for Sony.

Picasso of Pixar is also flying in with “Ghost Market”, scheduled for release on March 10, 2028. The animated extravaganza is a treasure trove of Asian myths, especially those tantalizing tales about stores that serve both the living and the dead, initially an idea for a streaming series, luckily we'll get to see it on the big screen!
In addition to all these, expect a melodious reunion with Miguel, grown up into a teenager now in “Coco 2”, set to captivate hearts from Nov. 21, 2029. Benjamin Bratt belts back into his melodious role of Ernesto de la Cruz. Disney also entwines us in excitement for a live-action remake of "Tangled" on March 31, 2028, alongside the animated marvel "Clay" smooshing playfully on Nov. 22, 2028.
And creeping up from the Searchlight's shadow, the horror flick "Monitor", dashes forwards from its original release date of April 30, 2027, to Apr. 16, 2028, because who doesn't love a good scare? Matt Black and Ryan Polly orchestrate this chilling saga of a demonic entity haunting the corridors of message board moderators.
To sum up, folks, we are in an era of movie euphoria and it's time to buckle up for the ride. So fans, stay tuned, heroes are on their way!
