Buffalo 8, a Santa Monica-based film and media powerhouse, secured the domestic rights to the film at last year's Toronto International Film Festival. The multi-talented Kassen directed "PH-1" from a script co-written with Cheryl Guerriero and also helmed production duties alongside Iliana Nikolic under his production banner Like Minded Entertainment. Also on the production reel is Julian West as an executive producer.

And this isn't Kassen's first rodeo. The versatile star has directed the likes of "Puncture," featuring Chris Evans, and HBO's "Bernard and Doris," starring Hollywood legends Ralph Fiennes and Susan Sarandon. He also produced Evans’ "Before We Go," and co-founded the bipartisan civic platform A Starting Point with Evans.
