As we gear up to celebrate the 25th birthday of the cherished series 'Gilmore Girls', a fresh-out-the-oven documentary, "Stars Hollow Unearthed: A Gilmore Girls' Journey", is on the anvil. The project ropes in fabled cast members like Kelly Bishop, Jared Padalecki and Chad Michael Murray, et al.

This intriguing project by Ink On Paper Studios is more than an autopsy of a TV show. It is set to delve into its multifaceted role in shaping American cultural tradition. On top of that, this voyage into memory lane will showcase first-time interviews with the stars and spill some behind-the-scenes beans from the show's directors, writers, and crew.

Joining the charismatic Bishop (Emily Gilmore), Padalecki (Dean Forester), and Murray (Tristin Dugray) in this docu-fest are a panorama of Stars Hollow's favorites. They include Keiko Agena (Lane Kim), Liz Torres (Miss Patty), Matt Jones (Morgan), the ever-melodious town troubadour Grant Lee Phillips, and even Kevin T Porter, who hosted the famous Gilmore Guys podcast – to name just a few.

'Gilmore Girls' was a heartwarming portrayal of the bond between a single mother and her teenage daughter, set in the vibrant and quirky landscape of the fictitious town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut. This dramedy was mastercrafted by Amy Sherman-Palladino and ran from 2000 to 2007, leaving a much-loved legacy behind.

The captain's wheel of this exciting documentary is in the capable hands of Meghna Balakumar and Kevin Konrad Hanna, with 'The Goldbergs' creator Adam F. Goldberg and producer Jim Demonakos on board at the helm.

Coming to the interviews so far, Balakumar shared her excitement, saying, "They've been an absolute delight. We've shot more than 100 hours of footage and already uncovered stories, critiques, and more. And we're continuing to shoot more interviews to present the most comprehensive account of the show’s impact and legacy in this historical moment."

Producer Demonakos weighed in on the significance of "Stars Hollow Unearthed”.
