Directed by John David Buxton, "Slay Day" takes the audience back to Friday the 13th, 1987. The backdrop is the idyllic town of Belle Falls. The plot catches up with six teenagers gearing up for their biggest event of the year-the Sadie Hawkins dance. The story takes a terrifying turn when the town decides to dig out the corpse of the real Sadie Hawkins. Sparks fly, and the horror begins when they attempt to investigate her killing spree five decades ago.
The cast of "Slay Day" includes an array of talented faces such as Jayden Bartels, Shelby Simmons, Emma McNulty, Caleb Brown, Luke Mullen, Corrado Martini, and Lyndon Smith, with casting under the expert eyes of Danielle Aufiero and Amber Horn from Aufiero/Horn.
The gripping narrative is penned by Andrew Matisziw and is being brought to life by the production expertise of Mark Dragin, Michael Kagan, and Scott C. Silver. Executive producers Eric Schneider, Angela Kay, and Chaz Barsamian, are ensuring that the audience gets nothing less than a spine-chilling, hands-on horror experience.

The film is financed by BasePoint Capital in association with Kino Industries’ CtrlMovie.
"'Slay Day,' remarkably, takes audience participation to the next level. Transforming the instinct of viewers interacting with the movie into a real-time experience. The viewers will be in complete control over who lives and dies", said the Director, John David Buxton.
According to Scott C. Silver, "‘Slay Day’ takes the audience into an entirely new realm. The interface allows audiences to contribute to the storyline at any point. This makes the deaths more personal as they are the direct consequences of autonomous choices made by the audience."
Producer Michael Kagan expressed gratitude towards the state of Utah, which extended comprehensive support during the film's production.
Repping, John David Buxton is Jesse Nord from the Nord Group and film representative Chaz Barsamian from Entertainment Law Partners. Prepare to steer the story of a horror film, all choices lie in the palms of your hands.
