With a cast fit for a Hollywood king, Searchlight Pictures unveils the trailer for their latest dramatic comedy, "Is This Thing On?", directed by none other than Bradley Cooper. The silver screen spectacular boasts a line-up that includes Will Arnett, Laura Dern, Cooper himself, Andra Day and, wait for it, Sean Hayes. Pop the popcorn, folks! This one's going to be a cracker!

"Is This Thing On?" draws inspiration from the life of the laugh master himself, British comedian John Bishop. The plot twists around a married couple's break-up, as Arnett's character, Alex, dramatically switches lanes from dad-duty to daring stand-up comedian in New York City's most celebrated funhouse, the West Village.

And just when you thought the megawatt cast couldn't possibly dazzle you more, think again. Enter stage right, Christine Ebersole, Ciarán Hinds, Peyton Manning and Amy Sedaris. Not only does Cooper have his hand in directing and starring, he's also sporting the writer and producer hats. Together with Mark Chappell, Will Arnett, Weston Middleton, and Kris Thykier, it’s nothing short of star-studded collaboration under the Lea Pictures production banner.

Keeping up with the high-voltage theme, the movie is set to hold its big world premiere at the New York Film Festival's prestigious closing night on October 10, at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. Cooper shared his excitement calling the New York premiere an honor and underscoring the unique energy that the city adds to the filmmaking process.

This directorial venture marks the third in Cooper's growing repertoire, following the renowned "A Star is Born" and "Maestro." His screen accomplishments also include crowd favorites like "Silver Linings Playbook," "American Sniper," and "American Hustle."

For those itching to catch an early glimpse of the drama-infused comedy, the trailer is now available. Stay tuned and get ready for the enchantment of "Is This Thing On?"
