Brace yourselves, folks! The upcoming "Fast and Furious" movie, known as "Fast Forever", got our very own action star, Vin Diesel, all choked up. The question on everyone's mind is - what on earth did that script contain that made the tough guy cry? Heck, we don't even know, because Louis Leterrier, the director himself, hasn't yet flipped through the pages.

“Without a doubt, the best script I've come across in many, many years.” Diesel posted this heartfelt message on Instagram regarding the 11th "Fast and Furious" film, written by talent-packed Michael Lesslie. Yet Leterrier, the mastermind behind 2023's "Fast X" and scheduled to return for "Fast Forever", hasn't laid eyes on that script, he shared with Polygon during press round-ups for his upcoming sci-fi shocker, "The Last House."

Awkwardly enough, when we pressed Leterrier on the "Fast Forever" script, he replied, “I seriously wish I could spill the beans, but alas, no can do.” He promises a fantastic finale, and he mentioned being fortunate to be involved in the franchise. “Working with Vin is a pleasure, and Universal-they're rock stars! So, fingers crossed, folks.”

We can't forget when Diesel intrigued us earlier this year, with the news of a March 2028 release date for “Fast Forever,” which was initially expected to kick-start production right after “Fast X” debuted in 2023. But alas, there have been hurdles along the way. “Fast X” was a box-office star, earning $714 million globally and leaving audiences in suspense with a nail-biting cliffhanger, which hinted at the comeback of Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson in a couple of post-credit scenes.

Michael Lesslie, who is responsible for “Fast Forever's” script, was revealed for the role back in March 2026. Sources told Variety that he enhanced an existing script, originally written by Aaron Rabin and Zach Dean-the latter being a key player in the “Fast X” narrative. Lesslie, whom you might know from “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,” “Assassin’s Creed,” “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,” and the upcoming hit “Sunrise on the Reaping”.

For all you enthusiasts waiting with bated breath, “Fast Forever” is projected to hit the screens on March 17, 2028. Be ready for an adrenaline-packed, rubber-burning, tear-jerking ride of a lifetime!
