Zendaya and Robert Pattinson Set The Screen On Fire in "The Drama"
- Dec 16, 2025
Hold on to your movie popcorn, folks! Robert Pattinson and Zendaya are coming to a theater near you as a fizzling out engaged couple in the all-new edgy masterpiece, "The Drama," directed by the ever so intriguing, Kristoffer Borgli.
Dubbed as the fourth cinematic gem from Borgli's collection, "The Drama" follows up on the heels of his critically-acclaimed 2023 film, "Dream Scenario," that saw Nicolas Cage in a leading role. But wait, the star power doesn't stop at Pattinson and Zendaya! "The Drama" also features the talented Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, and Hailey Gates, promising a banquet of performances to feast your eyes upon.
Grab your calendars; "The Drama" premieres on April 3, courtesy of A24. Oh and did we mention? This is going to be the first of not one, not two, but three opportunities you'll get to see Zendaya and Pattinson share the frame next year. On July 17th, they'll be appearing in Christopher Nolan’s "The Odyssey," brought to you by none other than Universal Pictures. Dust off your Greek mythology books, because Zendaya will be embodying the role of the goddess Athena, and Pattinson casts his charm as the dashing Ithacan suitor Antinous.

Fast forward to the end of 2026, and these stellar actors meet again on the tastefully dystopian sands of “Dune: Part Three,” the grand finale of Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” trilogy. Zendaya is back as our beloved Chani, while Pattinson graces the franchise for the first time. Will he play Scytale, the baddy from Frank Herbert’s “Dune: Messiah," which forms the foundation of the film? Well, it's still a whisper in the wind. Mark your calendar for the release of "Dune: Part Three" on Dec. 18 by Warner Bros.
If you're itching to get a glimpse of these (inter)stellar actors before they show up for "The Drama," check out Pattinson lighting up the screen with Jennifer Lawrence in "Die My Love," directed by Lynne Ramsay. Or catch Zendaya teaming up with Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor in Luca Guadagnino’s "Challengers." Not enough Zendaya in your life? You’ll soon get to experience her Emmy-winning character, Rue once again in Season 3 of HBO's emotional mammoth, "Euphoria.” Also, catch her swinging high in Disney and Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” on July 31.
In the meantime, for those seeking a bit more drama in their lives, check out the trailer for "The Drama" and spark some anticipation!
