Sit down, pop some corn and tighten your grip - we're dialing the game of survival up another notch. Searchlight Pictures has dropped the mind-blowing trailer for "Ready or Not 2: Here I Come". Mark your calendars folks, we're in for a wild cinematic ride on April 10.
Brace yourself for a quick recap of what you're in for. Immediately after pulling through the ruthless onslaught initiated by the Le Domas posse in the last film, our resilient heroine, Grace (played by the fierce Samara Weaving), finds herself being thrown deeper into the creepy, chessboard-like game. This time, it's not just her life at stake – she's fighting for her estranged sister, Faith (played by the talented Kathryn Newton). With the High Seat of the Council and control over the world as the ultimate prize, four feuding families are on a relentless manhunt for Grace. The victor becomes the overseer of it all. Make sure you buckle up for this rollercoaster!
Our protagonist, Grace, returns in all her resilience, with Weaving reprising the role, giving the audience what they love. Here's the exciting part – there's a line-up of fresh faces set to join the nail-biting drama. Enter Faith MacCaullay, Grace’s younger sister, played by the brilliant Kathryn Newton, and a league of new entrants including Sarah Michelle Gellar as Ursula Danforth, Shawn Hatosy as Titus Danforth, and David Cronenberg taking up the mantle of Mr. Danforth. The cast is embellished with other notable actors including Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng and the iconic Elijah Wood.

In case you missed it, in the debut film, "Ready or Not", we were introduced to Grace as a former foster kid who marries into the affluent Le Domas clan. After saying "I do" to Alex le Domas (portrayed by Mark O’Brien), she was tasked with proving her worth to her peculiar new family by literally playing for her life in a macabre version of hide and seek.
This nerve-wracking sequel "Ready or Not 2: Here I Come", is the work of the talented duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The well-crafted script finds its roots in the minds of Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy. The undertaking has been brought to fruition under the careful supervision of producers Tripp Vinson, James Vanderbilt, William Sherak and Bradley J. Fischer.
Tune in, thrill seekers! It's time to test your survival instincts once more with the trailer of "Ready or Not 2: Here I Come". Don't worry, no deadly games necessary to watch.
