Looks like "Happy Death Day"'s leading lady, the vibrant Jessica Rothe, isn't quite ready to leave her nightmarish birthday behind. In fact, she's gearing up to blow out her deathly candles for a third installment in the successful series.

The star, whose character Tree Gelbman has developed quite the knack for dying (and then not dying) in the original "Happy Death Day" and its thrilling sequel, "Happy Death Day 2U," can't wait to take audiences on another wacky rollercoaster ride of dread and delight.

In a recent chat with media, Rothe shared that Christopher Landon, the mastermind behind the gripping Groundhog Day-meets-horror franchise, is all set for another revival. “Chris, our genius and fearless writer/director, has the whole third one figured out,” she enthused to ScreenRant.

The original flick had Rothe's character, aptly named Tree, relive her bloody birthday over and over again until she could solve the murder mystery - that is, her own! The sequel flipped the script with a dash of sci-fi seasoning, thrusting Tree into a parallel universe following some questionable time-travel antics. So, what's next?

According to Rothe, it’s just a matter of time. “Whether it’s next year or when I’m 65, pulling a Jamie Lee Curtis coming back for ‘Halloween,’ I'm ready to complete Tree's terrifying tale,” she affirmed. “It’s just about getting all our ducks in a row.”

But why stop at another sequel? Rothe suggested that Landon’s creative universe could intertwine for an ultimate crossover. “I’m sure he also has his own MCU-styled crossover idea, the ‘ChrisCU’, with ‘Freaky,’ ‘Happy Death Day,’ ‘We Have a Ghost,’ and ‘Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse’ all coexisting together. I personally think that's the mash-up we need right now!”

Stay tuned, horror-comedy lovers. The "Happy Death Day" saga might not yet have seen its final sunrise!
