Here's some good news to spice up your TV schedules! "The Paper", the shiny new creation expanding on the legacy of "The Office", is about to hit your screens. Clear your plans on Sept. 4 folks, because the first four episodes will be there for your viewing pleasure, with two more episodes coming your way every Thursday through Sept. 25.

Now, we know what you’re thinking, what is this “The Paper” all about? Sounds interesting, right? Well, it is! "The Paper" provides a behind-the-scenes glimpse at a group of devoted employees embarked on one gigantic mission: saving a historical Midwestern newspaper. How is that for a fun twist?

Leading the on-screen magic is an ensemble cast featuring Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, and Oscar Nuñez, our beloved accountant from “The Office,” reprising his familiar role. Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young and Tim Key are also part of the hilarious roller coaster ride.

The show takes place at the interestingly chaotic office of the Toledo Truth-Teller with Oscar (Nuñez) crunching numbers - not all too thrilled to be under the documentary scope again. Impacciatore is the fearless managing editor and Gleeson is a fresh-on-the-board idealist.

The series' powerhouse creators - Greg Daniels, who adapted “The Office” for American TV, and Michael Koman - along with original “The Office” masters Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant join in on the fun as executive producers. And the list goes on to include heavyweights like Howard Klein, Ben Silverman, and Banijay Americas (formerly Reveille), with Universal Television acting as the studio.

As unforgettable fans of the American “Office”, we know that the show unfolded at Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch and introduced us to some legendary TV characters. Those funny, cringe-inducing moments have stayed with us even after the show stopped and found a new generation of fans thanks to streaming platforms.

So, be ready to experience another journey through office humor with "The Paper"! We can already smell the reams of laughs coming your way.
