Fans of the Twilight saga, brace yourselves! GEA Live and Lionsgate have unveiled plans for a groundbreaking tour that brings the much-loved franchise to life in concert across sixty US cities.

Staging a tour of this scale for the first-time, “Twilight” in Concert, will visit Spokane, Wash. for a sneak peek performance on Sept. 12. The official opening night will follow on Sept. 13 in Seattle, fittingly scheduled for “National Twilighters Day.”

This live-to-film experience commemorates the 20th anniversary of the popular novel “Twilight”. The concept features a fusion of a screening of the original Twilight movie and 12-piece live rock and orchestral music performance. This combination offers fans the opportunity to delve deep into the romantic tale that captivated millions worldwide.

The unprecedented event offers the audience a chance to relive the story that kickstarted the phenomenon in an utterly new format. Alongside projecting the full movie on large cinema screens, live musicians will perform the film’s score, in sync to the scenes. Setting a remarkable ambiance, over 1,000 candles will beautifully light up the stage.

The Twilight saga is one of the foremost young adult film franchises of its time, earning over $3.3 billion in global box office revenue. The blockbuster films sprouted from the “Twilight” series penned by Stephenie Meyer, which bagged numerous awards, and achieved sales of above 160 million copies worldwide, printed in 49 different languages. The work also inspired Lionsgate’s TV adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s novel “Midnight Sun”, which is now a series on Netflix.
