- Nov 14, 2025
Fashionistas, get ready to sashay back to Runway and once again live through the high-heels and high-drama life in “The Devil Wears Prada 2". A quick teaser trailer has been unveiled, and it's as spine-chillingly fabulous as you'd imagine. The fierce Miranda Priestly, brought to life by the incomparable Meryl Streep, effortlessly commands attention as she paces down the corridors of Runway in fire-engine red stilettos. In a flash, she’s joined by her one-time apprentice, Andy Sachs, portrayed by Anne Hathaway, who smirks slyly and dons chic black sunglasses. Talk about an entrance!
The sequel invites us back into the vortex of the fashion world, centering on Runway's formidable editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly. She’s navigating a challenging landscape where the future of print journalism hangs by a thread. And who should she encounter but her erstwhile junior assistant Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), who has since climbed up the ladder to become a high-ranking executive of a luxury group. And of course, they have advertising dollars…dollars Miranda could use.
The original “Devil Wears Prada” gave us a ringside view of the whirlwind life of newbie journalist Andrea Sachs. Fresh out of college and hungry for a breakthrough, Andy winded up at Runway, under the demanding eye of Priestly. And then came the big choice – professional réussite or personal relationships. It was a certified blockbuster, fetching a cool $326 million globally.

"The Devil Wears Prada 2" brings back series regulars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Tracie Thoms, and Tibor Feldman. New to the cast is Kenneth Branagh, who will portray Priestly's spouse. Simone Ashley has also hopped on board for a yet-unrevealed part. Other new faces include Lucy Liu, B.J. Novak, Justin Theroux, and Pauline Chalamet. Australian actor Patrick Brammall has been roped in to play Andy’s new beau, with actress Rachel Bloom joining the ranks in an undisclosed role. Fans will surely miss Adrian Grenier, as it's confirmed that he won't be reprising his role as Nate from the first film.
