You've heard of scary movies involving dolls, demon possessions, and haunted houses, right? But have you ever heard of a horror film about an ice cream man? Step into the chilling world of Eli Roth's next silver screen shriek fest, 'Ice Cream Man,' set to freeze viewers in fear at 2,000 North American venues come August 7.

The teaser trailer makes it abundantly clear - this isn't one of those romps with evil clowns or possessed playthings. This is a full-blown havoc fest set in the usually calm and serene Bayleen Bay, a summer haven that curdles into a nightmare after a makeshift ice cream vendor serves up more than just cold scoops.

For those who were hoping for a quiet, relaxing summer, think again. The 30-second sneak peek gives us a shocking view of innocent youngsters drawn into a terrifying trance: sneaking around their slumbering parents, etching bloody snow angels, quite literally holding a grown woman hostage before taking a blow to her belly with a baseball bat. As their terrifying deeds unfold, the chilling catchphrase, “I scream. You scream. We all scream for Ice Cream Man” blinks ominously across the screen.

The delightful dispenser of fright and frozen treats is played to chilling perfection by Ari Millen, known for his role in “Orphan Black”. The star-studded supporting cast includes Benjamin Byron Davis from “Guardians of the Galaxy 3”, Dylan Hawco of “Heartland”, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer from “The Handmaid’s Tale,” and Sarah Abbott from Netflix's “The Body". Karen Cliche, Shiloh O’Reilly, and Charlie Storey, our friends from Roth’s previous slasher movie 'Thanksgiving' also join the terrifying trip.

'Ice Cream Man' also marks a special point in Roth's career. This will be his first film under his recently launched production banner 'The Horror Section', which he established in March 2025. Roth will not only take the director's chair but also pull the strings behind the scenes as a producer and co-writer, teaming up again with his long-time partner in fright, Noah Belson.

To drizzle some extra hip hop flavor into this spine-chiller, rap legend Snoop Dogg will bring the syncopation to the scary with original tunes. Furthermore, fellow rap mogul Nas, through his Mass Appeal outfit, joins hands in a new strategic partnership with The Horror Section to serve as executive producer.

Hold onto your cones, folks. The 'Ice Cream Man' cometh, and he's bringing chills and thrills that will freeze you to the bone. Watch if you dare.
