Get your detective glasses and funny bones ready as "The Chair Company," Tim Robinson's fresh comedy series, eyes Oct. 12 for its laughter-inducing premiere on HBO and HBO Max. The brainchild of Robinson and Zach Kanin, who previously hit the comedy gold with their gig "I Think You Should Leave," this series serves a chucklesome cocktail of hilarity and mystery.

Imagine having an oops-moment at work that sends you on a quest unravelling a conspiracy as deep as the Marianas trench. That's the ride this eight-episode show promises, debuting one episode every week till it bids adieu with a season finale on Nov. 30.

Robinson dons the baton of William Ronald Trosper in this comedy caper, sharing screen space with Lake Bell, Sophia Lillis, Will Price and Joseph Tudisco who personify Barb Trosper, Natalie Trosper, Seth Trosper and Mike Santini respectively. Remember Jeff Levjman from Lou Diamond Phillips? He makes inroads with a recurring role.

Serving the laughs also from behind the camera are Robinson and Kanin as executive producers, in a power-packed team consisting of Adam McKay and Todd Schulman for HyperObject Industries, Andrew DeYoung and Igor Srubshchik. Cueing in from his recent comedy direction in "Friendship," DeYoung directs this series alongside Aaron Schimberg.

Robinson's comedy credentials don't just stop at the popular absurd sketch comedy series "I Think You Should Leave." He tickled funny bones with Sam Richardson in the sitcom "Detroiters," which they co-created with Kanin and Joe Kelly. An alumnus of “Saturday Night Live,” Robinson channelled his unutilized sketches into "I Think You Should Leave," adding to his acting portfolio, which includes "Documentary Now!" and the Seth Rogen film “An American Pickle.”

As we wait in anticipation for this comedy mystery to unravel on our screens, here’s a sneak peek into its first-look images, which promise an exciting ride of LOLs and "aha!" moments.
