In the ultimate mash-up of big screens and binge-worthy TV, you'll have the chance to catch the riveting Season 2 finale of "The Pitt" in actual movie theaters before it even drops onto small screens. How cool is that? Courtesy of HBO Max and Warner Bros. Television who've decided to partner up with fan-favorite movie chain Alamo Drafthouse, they've got an early screening special on April 13 all lined up.

Happening just a handful of days before the real-world premiere on HBO Max on April 16, these advance screenings are not just for thrill of being first. Featuring 10 participating Alamo Drafthouse theaters across the nation - we're looking at you, New York City, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Austin, Naples, Raleigh, San Francisco, Twin Cities, and Los Angeles - it's a celebration of healthcare heroes indeed, with a side of binge-watching.

It's more than a movie night though. These advance screenings are being touted as healthcare appreciation events. That's right! Both current superheroes in scrubs and their retired comrades are heavily encouraged to attend the screenings. But don't worry, mere civilians are more than welcome too. The best part? Admission is on the house. However, securing these seats involves a food and drink voucher purchase worth $10 from the Alamo Drafthouse website.

For those not in the loop, "The Pitt" isn't your everyday hospital soap opera. Set in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, Season 1 saw the characters navigate a one-day shift during a mass shooting. The second season places the cast, led by Noah Wyle and including actors like Patrick Ball, Isa Briones, Taylor Dearden, Shabana Azeez, among others, smack in the middle of Independence Day Weekend. As with anything involving hospitals and holidays, it's bound to be riveting and fiercely real.

Creeping into your cue courtesy of creator R. Scott Gemmill, with executive production chops from Wyle, John Wells, Erin Jontow, Joe Sachs, Simran Baidwan, and Michael Hissrich, and Warner Bros Television in charge of studio matters, you're in for quite a treat with "The Pitt." So gather your medical professional pals and couch buddies, it's going to be an unforgettable night for binge-watchers, for sure.
